Without God, Canada is Self-Destructing, ‘In and Outside’ of the Womb. by Donald Andre Bruneau, B.Th., M.P.Th.

SAM_174620160314_173158[1]Without God, Canada is Self-Destructing,  ‘In and Outside’ of the Womb.

Saint Augustine once said: “There is no love without hope, no hope without love, and neither love nor hope without faith.”

For the most part, Canadians have lost their moral compass because they have lost faith in God. They are rebelling against God, with serious, eternal consequences. Many are becoming   ‘diabolical narcissists’,  purged of all charity and any empathy for others.  Matthew 24:12 explains it very clearly: “And because iniquity hath abounded, the charity of many shall grow cold.”

These narcissists  want to live life  ‘their way’, not  ‘God’s way’. In their life  ‘without God’  Canadians are legally killing one another.

It is called the  ‘right to choose’. Yes, the right to choose to end another person’s life,  ‘in’  the womb of a woman and  ‘outside’  the womb. I call the act of killing the pre-born baby  ‘aborterrorism’, the worst form of terrorism on the face of the earth. (Cf: www.aborterrorism.ca )

And now to bring this  ‘Culture of Death’  in Canada to its horrific peak performance royal assent has been given to Bill C-14 on June 17, 2016, thus legalizing euthanasia and assisted suicide.

As my sign says on Parliament Hill by the Centennial Flame:

Killing Canadians  ‘early’.

Want to kill them  ‘late’  &  ‘anytime’.

In June, 2016 during the debate on Bill C-14 in the Senate, Senator Betty Unger affirmed this decadence of Canadian morality. She stated:

” Were destroying our moral fabric with this euthanasia Bill. May God have mercy on us.” (Cf:  http://bettyunger.ca/bill-c-14-i-cannot-support-this-legislation/ )

Who is mainly responsible for this ongoing destruction of Canada’s moral fabric? Who is mainly responsible for transforming Canada’s pro-life laws into laws which legally permit a horrific ‘Culture of Death’ comprised mainly of abortion, same-sex marriage and now euthanasia and assisted suicide.?

Those responsible are none other than the judges of the Supreme Court of Canada, followed by Canada’s Prime Ministers, Members of Parliament and Senators and Governor General, etc.

Gwen Landolt explains perfectly well how this happened in a talk she gave titled: “The Courts Have Changed Canada’s Judeo-Christian Culture.” (CF: http://www.realwomenofcanada.ca/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/FINAL-SPEECH_for-website-Changing-Canadas-Christian-Culture.pdf

She states:

“A bloodless revolution took place in Canada in 1982 when the Charter of Rights, promoted by Liberal Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau became a part of our Constitution. Prior to the Charter, Canadian laws and democracy were based on Judeo-Christian principles, anchored in the common good. These Judeo-Christian laws allowed Canadian society to flourish and thrive. These laws however, have been eliminated by judges under the Charter so that Canada has become a secular humanist society.”

The Supreme Court judges have given Canadians a worldly and godless society. Remember…without God we self-destruct.

At the Federal government level it is Pierre Trudeau who opened the ‘bloodgates’ of abortion with the passage of Omnibus Bill C-25 on May 14, 1969. (Cf: http://striveforheavennow.ca/his-father-made-it-possible-now-justin-trudeau-is-imposing-it-aborterrorism/

Afterwards, then Prime Minister Paul Martin with the passage on July 20, 2005 of Bill C-38 legalized (vote 158-133) same-sex marriage. Same-sex marriage is in stark contrast to Traditional Marriage whose purpose is to create ‘life’. Same-sex marriage is an unnatural lifestyle which brings forth death through HIV/AIDS. History and death statistics of homosexuals prove it. ( Cf: http://www.aborterrorism.ca/homosexuality/ )

And now in 2016 it is Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his Liberal majority government which has imposed euthanasia and assisted suicide on Canadians through Bill C-14. On June 17, 2016 the Senate passed the amended Bill C-14 (44-28) clearing the way for it to become law after receiving royal assent.

For a good explanation of how deadly a threat Bill C-14 is to the lives of Canadians read this article by Alex Schadenburg, the executive director of Euthanasia Prevention Coalition.

He states on June 20, 2016: “No jurisdiction in the world offers legal immunity to anyone who does anything for the purposes of assisting death. Bill C-14 is the most wide-open bill in the world. It is even worse than the Belgian law. Recent studies from Belgium indicate that more than 1000 assisted deaths occur without request each year.” (Cf: http://www.lifenews.com/2016/06/20/canadian-senate-passes-bill-allowing-anyone-to-kill-someone-by-euthanasia-or-assisted-suicide/

The Culture of Death is all around us in Canada. My most serious question to all Canadians is: “Are you ready to die?”. Just as the pre-born, unborn baby in the womb is suddenly destroyed by aborterrorists (doctors who perform abortions), so will many Canadians get hit broadside by Death through the new euthanasia and assisted suicide laws. They won’t see it coming. They won’t know it‘s coming. Legalized serial killers, such as doctors will decide it’s time for them to die. We will put them out of their ‘suffering’ they will say.

Since  ‘suffering’ is the ‘raison d’etre’ and  has been front and centre in this debate on euthanasia and assisted suicide, please allow me, if you may, to share with you my point of view on suffering.

To some degree I am qualified to speak on suffering as my focus of studies at St. Paul University in Ottawa was in Chaplaincy.

I share my experiences in ‘Love and Suffering’ on my website 🙁 http://striveforheavennow.ca/prayer/the-cross-and-suffering )

One of my most important quotes  in ‘Love and Suffering’ is…

 “Love…begets Suffering, and…Suffering….begets..Love.”

Pope John Paul 11 echoes my quote on suffering in such a profound and wise way in his apostolic letter Salvifici Doloris (On The Christian Meaning of Human Suffering)

Saint John Paul 11 states:

“ We could say that suffering…is present in order to unleash love in the human person, that unselfish gift of one’s “I” on behalf of other people, especially those who suffer. The world of human suffering unceasingly calls for, so to speak, another world: the world of human love; and in a certain sense man owes to suffering that unselfish love that stirs in his heart and actions.” (SD 29)

Christopher Kaczor, Ph.D, does an excellent exposition of key elements of ‘Salvifici Dolores’ . https://w2.vatican.va/content/john-paul-ii/en/apost_letters/1984/documents/hf_jp-ii_apl_11021984_salvifici-doloris.html  in his article “A Pope’s Answer to the Problem of Pain.” I highly recommend it. It sheds much light on serious questions related to suffering.     http://www.catholic.com/magazine/articles/a-pope%E2%80%99s-answer-to-the-problem-of-pain

Love and suffering cannot be separated. Any true Catholic understands the connection between love and suffering and does not look upon suffering as a curse but rather as a blessing.

Immediately after my graduation with a Master of Pastoral Theology, I returned home in 2002 to care for my precious mother who suffered a stroke and was left semi-paralyzed at age 81. She lived to 91.5.

I was her caregiver and Power of Attorney for 9 years in a Nursing Home. During those years I learned so much about the meaning of suffering, compassion and love and its opposites.

I wish I could (after those nine years) say like some people: “I have great faith in our doctors. I haven’t met a doctor who is out to hurt a patient.”

My experience contradicts this view towards most doctors. Please read my story at www.striveforheavennow.ca/euthanasia . Mom’s doctors were my worst enemies. A few months prior to mom’s death her doctor made it very clear to me that she wanted my mother dead.

Remember now the expression, “Birds of a feather flock (stick) together.” It was me against all medical staff ( with a few exceptions) in my defence of my mother. If you read my story, ‘euthanasia’  you will understand what I mean. In those nine years I learned to distrust, not trust Doctors, Nurses and P.S.Ws. Thank God there are still some good doctors and medical personnel.

So, from my experience, especially if you read my whole story www.striveforheavennow.ca/euthanasia  you will see that many doctors and medical staff are not to be trusted.

“Jean Echlin, a Palliative Care Nurse for 37 years, founded the Hospice of Windsor and was an adjunct associate professor of nursing at the University of Windsor.

“Echlin, who is 84 years old, admits to her own trepidation: “I fear going into acute care,” she told LifeSiteNews. ( https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/palliative-care-nurse-death-anxiety-economic-concerns-behind-canadas-euthan

“I’m due for surgery. I am terrified to go into hospital, because what if I don’t heal as rapidly as I should and become a ‘bed-blocker’ for a while?

“A bed-blocker, she explained, is hospital slang for the elderly who take up acute care beds. She also fears for the lives of people with emotional and physical disabilities.

“Echlin echoed many witnesses for the federal joint committee in her insistence that Canada needs to provide proper Palliative Care.

“Palliative Care means that ‘we focus on living well until you die. That means good pain and symptom management and providing physical, emotional, social, and spiritual care.” She told LifeSiteNews.

“With such care, people who have asked to be killed not only change their minds, but live longer.” ( https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/palliative-care-nurse-death-anxiety-economic-concerns-behind-canadas-euthan )

This is where the Federal government has failed the people of Canada. They have given deaf ears to those people asking for the focus to be on providing ‘Palliative Care’ to extend the life of Canadians rather than killing them with euthanasia and assisted suicide.

It is the principles of the ‘Judeo-Christian’ faith which has made Canada the great country that it once was. Canadians are rejecting God at a rapid pace and ‘without God we self-destruct’.

Our Catholic Faith informs us of a God who loves each one of us, you included, and gave us our gift of life on this earth and  ‘offers us’  eternal life  forever in Heaven.

But this awesome offer is conditional upon us recognizing Jesus Christ, the Son of God as ‘the Way and the Truth and the Life’. (Cf: John 14:6 )

God leaves us free to accept or reject His offer of Salvation found in John 3:16:

“For God so loved the world , as to give his only begotten Son: that whosoever believeth in him may not perish, but may have life everlasting.”

I gave a Conference at St Paul University in 2002 titled “Perfect Love Casteth Out All Fear.” (Cf: 1 John 4:18 )(  http://striveforheavennow.ca/perfect-love )

In one of my talks titled ‘God’s Love’ I answered questions such as “What did God create us for?” “What is our final destiny, is it Heaven or Hell?”

I also dealt with the most important question: “Do You Know Jesus Christ?” It is the most important question we will ever be asked and have to answer for our self.

This takes us back to Euthanasia. This is why  ‘time’  is so precious. In every additional moment of life…God gives us  ‘another opportunity’  to turn to Jesus Christ as our Saviour so as to save us from eternal damnation in Hell and bring us to Heaven for eternity. You can read my entire talk on God’s Love here http://striveforheavennow.ca/perfect-love .

This is why every  ‘additional moment’ of life is so precious. This is why euthanasia and assisted suicide is so evil. Our life does not end at death. It is the beginning of a life that is eternal.

Sadly, many people will have delayed this choice of turning to Jesus and euthanasia will rob them of eternal life in Heaven.

As an Aboriginal man said to me on Parliament Hill when I questioned him about death by euthanasia:

“We should die at the time decided by our Creator.”

Only God who created us and knows us so intimately is the One who should decide on the ‘moment’ of our death.

To decide to end our life is to go against and sin against God’s Commandments.

Let us remember:

“It is appointed unto men once to die but after this the judgment.” Hebrews 9:27

Mark my words, with Euthanasia  and Assisted Suicide now legal, it will go the same route as abortion has. At first abortion caused a ‘trickle’ of deaths and soon became a ‘deluge’ of blood, innocent blood shed by legalized serial killers, aka: doctors. I call them aborterrorists.

For months I have been holding my sign on Parliament Hill with the words..

as I protest daily against euthanasia and assisted suicide and the rest of the Culture of Death. It is time for Canadians to wake up and turn back to God and repent. God will restore our country of Canada  ‘if’  we turn to Him. He promises in

II Chronicles 7:14:

“And my people, upon whom my name is called, being converted, shall make supplication to me, and seek my face, and do penance for their most wicked ways: then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sins and will heal their land.”

In closing I would like all Canadians, especially our political, medical and religious leaders to seriously consider having a close look at  ‘Palliative Care’  and do your best, using your influence, to promote and establish adequate Palliative Care throughout Canada so that Canadians can have access to a truly loving  and compassionate means of living out the remaining days of their life and where ‘Hope’ and  ‘Love’ will come to meet them and  care for them in their ‘suffering’ and they will have time to prepare to meet their ‘Creator’, their God.

While you still have breath, have life, consider God’s Word to you today:

“For what shall it profit a man, if he gain the whole world and suffer the loss of his soul?” Mark 8:36.
