Merry Christmas!
Keep Christ in Christmas!
This was repeated time and time again
To the spectators of the Santa Claus Parade.
With our float beside us, we ran
We ran from one child to another.
Giving them candy and a written, urgent message
The message? T’was about God’s Love for each of us!
Our float also carried this awesome message
A message of love on a large, black billboard.
It said in bold white letters
“Keep Christ in Christmas!”
One child’s mother asked me
Have you seen Santa Claus?
I replied: “No, but there is Jesus!”
Jesus on the float, in the manger.
I also said to the mother
“Jesus, He’s the Reason for the Season!”
Jesus was not alone.
He was with his parents.
We could see His father, St-Joseph
Standing, keeping watch and praying.
We could also see the Virgin Mary, kneeling
Kneeling in silent adoration of her son.
Her Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ
Born Incarnate, just for you and me.
Baby Jesus, later the Crucified and Risen Christ.
Christ sent from Heaven, He paid the price.
Yes, He paid the price to grant us eternity
A Heavenly eternity filled with Peace, Love and Joy!
Because Jesus, Mary and Joseph said ‘Yes’
‘Yes’ to the requests of God the Father.
We can celebrate our Savior’s birth at Christmas.
That is why we must do all to keep Christ in Christmas!
Will you say ‘Yes’ to spreading this message?
Will you say at Christmas time?
