Note: This is a translation and revision of a talk I gave on December 12, 2014, at ‘Eglise Notre Dame de Guadalupe’ in Gatineau/Hull, Quebec.
AVE MARIA
I am with you tonight to give witness to my radical love for Jesus and Mary as well as the gift of life.
In this case for Our Lady of Guadalupe as we gather here to celebrate Her Feast Day in the church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, invited to speak here by a great devotee of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mr Renald Veilleux.
Our Lady of Guadalupe describes Renald as her ‘instrument’ and her ‘spokesman’ for God. (Cf: How I Was Led To Found The Movement In Favour Of Life, Renald Veilleux, pg 91 ) (CF: https://striveforheavennow.ca/how-i-was-led-to-found-the-movement-in-favor-of-life/ )
Renald wrote this book under the extraordinary oversight of Jesus and Mary in order to make known God”s will on abortion in Canada.
(Note: As I continue with my talk you will occasionally hear me say ‘Ave Maria. This is my cue that I am about to begin a new phase of my talk and it is also repeated requests for Mary’s presence and intercession for us as I speak.)
Soon, on December 25, 2014, we will hear once again the words of the song…”A Saviour is born…”. Yes, sinners that all of us are, God in his great mercy (cf: John 3:16 ) and his awesome love for each one of us, sent the Archangel Gabriel to visit a young virgin named “Mary”. (Cf: Luke 1:26-38 )
Mary, who so loved God, did not hesitate for a second to give her ‘Yes’, her ‘Fiat’. She abandoned herself to God’s will. Afterwards, Mary gave birth to Jesus.
“And the angel answering, said to her: “The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee and the power of the Most High shall overshadow thee. And therefore also the Holy which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” (Luke 1:35 )
Once again this year we shall celebrate the Holy Family, “Jesus, Mary and Joseph”. It is in the womb of the “Immaculate Conception” that Jesus, the God-man, was incarnated. What ‘mystery’, what ‘wonder of wonders’!
God, in His ‘radical love’ for each and every one of us, incarnated Himself in the womb of the ‘Immaculate’, of Mary who was conceived without sin from the first moment of her conception, through the merits of the sacrifice of her Son, Jesus Christ, Saviour of the world. ( cf: Pope Pius 1X, Bulle Ineffablis , 1854. )
In total contrast, a sinner was born on February 2, 1947, 3rd of four sons of Hector J. Bruneau and Leona Bruneau. His name is Joseph, Donald Andre Bruneau. It is I.
I can state that while growing up I experienced the priceless love of a ‘father’ and a ‘mother’ and my siblings within the security and comfort of the ‘Traditional Family’.
In this present age the ‘Traditional Family’ is attacked on all fronts. The two worse enemies of the Traditional Family, made up of a man and a woman, is ‘homosexuality’ with it’s ‘same-sex marriage’ and the ‘birth control pill’.
To understand how serious a threat ‘homosexuality’ is to the Traditional Family and all of humanity as they vigorously infiltrate our schools read ‘Homosexuality’ at www.aborterrorism.ca .
The birth control pill is the diabolical root cause of ‘abortion’ and the ‘Culture of Death’. The pill is the source of billions of abortions.
I believe that Satan and his demons danced with joy when the birth control pill fell into the hands of the woman. From that deadly moment, Satan could see the coming breakdown and fall of the Traditional Family and the millions of souls that would be damned to Hell because of their sins of the flesh committed against the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony.
At Fatima (cf: http://fatima.ageofmary.com/ ) the Virgin Mary said:
“More souls go to Hell because of the sins of the flesh than for any other reason.”
“Our Lady was referring to certain sins against purity. It is necessary to teach clearly that sexual relations are authorized only within the context of a married man and woman.” ( http://www.fatima.org/essentials/facts/story1.asp )
The use of the Pill has also removed the respect and dignity that women once enjoyed. With the advent of the ‘Pill’, the woman has been lowered to the level of a sexual object to be used and enjoyed by man. He soon leaves her to take advantage of another one.
Ave Maria
As a child I also remember when, as a family, we used to say the ‘Rosary’ after supper. I would like to share a wonderful testimony about the power of the Rosary.
Many years ago, my older brother was very ill with ‘ulcerative colitis’ which is very painful. It is a chronic inflammation of the large intestine, otherwise known as IBD (inflammatory bowel disease).
During one of his visits to my place, he was in great pain. I invited him to come to a healing service. He agreed. Through the laying on of hands and prayer Ronald was instantly healed. He never did get to use the pills that his doctor had just prescribed for him that day.
That same night, upon getting home I immediately called our mother to give her the good news about Ronald’s healing. Before I could begin to tell her she said to me:
“Donald, wait, I want to tell you what happened tonight. I was on my knees praying my Rosary for Ronald and in the middle of my Rosary I yelled out ‘he’s healed, he’s healed, my son is healed!”
My friends, the Rosary is a very powerful weapon of prayer. (CF: http://www.tldm.org/News19/PowerOfTheRosary.htm ) (http://www.erosary.com/option,com_miracles/Itemid,83.htm )
I also remember the ‘Miraculous Medal’ that Mom always wore around her neck. I am now wearing it. It is like the one I now have but it is much smaller.
To understand why it is called the ‘Miraculous Medal’ I invite you to visit this site. ( www.marys-touch.com/medal )
Mom wore her Miraculous medal with great respect and devotion. It was a great witness of her love for Mary.
Ave Maria
On May 22, 1971 I married Claudette. After a short time, realizing that Claudette could not have any children, we adopted our precious ‘Tammy-Lynn’ at the age of five and a half years.
The years have quickly flown by like the twinkling of an eye. We are grandparents of three children and eight great-grandchildren. I have been blessed to journey with Claudette for 43+ years within Holy Matrimony.
Ave Maria
On a spiritual level I wish to share with you several key and very important years of my life..
1975—Was the year, when at a ‘Kathryn Kuhlman Miracle Service’, I reaffirmed the promises of my baptism as an adult. I had a ‘personal encounter’ with ‘Jesus Christ’ as my Saviour. Suddenly, I had a great thirst to read the Word of God and to share my testimony.
1979–During a retreat, I had an encounter with the ‘Holy Spirit’. It is described as ‘the Baptism in the Holy Spirit’. (Cf: the Acts of the Apostles 1 and 2, Mathew 3:11,Mark 1:8, Luc 3:16 )
It is at that moment that Jesus became ‘Lord’ of my life and I realized so clearly that God is my ‘Creator’ and I am his ‘creature’. What a difference in perspective!
(CF: O the depth of the riches of the wisdom and of the knowledge of God! How incomprehensible are his judgments, and how unsearchable his ways! 34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? Or who hath been his counsellor? 35 Or who hath first given to him, and recompense shall be made him? 36 For of him, and by him, and in him, are all things: to him be glory for ever. Amen.
It is also during this retreat that I realised the huge importance of the ‘Parable of the Talents’ as described in Mathew 25:14-30.
1989–A very important year in my life! Why? Because I made a very intimate and personal encounter with the ‘Virgin Mary’ at Medjugorje, Bosnia.
Since June 24, 1981, the Virgin Mary has been appearing in Medjugorje to six visionaries (cf: www.medjugorje.com and www.striveforheavennow.ca/tojesusthroughmary )
The Virgin Mary did not waste any time introducing me to her Son.
The morning of the first of my three days in Medjugorje I was accompanied by Fr Gaspard Martin, from Quebec. At 6 a.m we both witnessed the ‘Miracle of the Sun’, the ‘Sun-Host’ phenomena.
We were walking towards ‘Pordboro Hill’, the hill where Mary made her first apparition to six young visionaries for the first time on June 24, 1981.
All of a sudden we both stopped walking and fixed our gaze on the golden sun which had instantly turned Host-White. It was surrounded by a beautiful blood-red haze and spun within itself.
Within my soul I could hear a still small voice: “The Body and Blood of Christ.”
“For me this was a Sacred moment, on Sacred ground, with my eyes fixed on what is most Sacred in this whole universe,
‘The Holy Eucharist”.
Tears were flowing down my cheeks. I have never been the same since that ‘encounter’. During my three days in Medjugorje I was praying the rosary with a renewed and much greater devotion. I had not prayed the rosary since I was a teenager.
While in Medjugorje I consecrated myself to the Virgin Mary. My return trip to Rome with a group of wonderful Portuguese Catholics took me to Lanciano to visit the Shrine of Lanciano where is one of the most known Eucharistic Miracles. ( http://www.therealpresence.org/eucharst/mir/lanciano.html )
My pilgrimage to Medjugorje planted the seed within me of a great devotion to Mary and for her Son in the Holy Eucharist. I feed my soul daily with the Body and Blood of Christ at Holy Mass and by being in His Eucharistic Presence every day at Saint Maurice Church in Ottawa where there is Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament 24/7.
The following website has precious prayers and devotions to the Blessed Sacrament:

Ave Maria
After my 33 day consecration to Mary on December 8th of 1997, I had the great joy to enroll as a theology student at Saint Paul University in Ottawa at the age of 51 in the Fall of 1998.
It was four precious and unforgettable years immersed in the world of ‘theology’. I never worked so hard and with so much joy and satisfaction! I graduated at the age of 55 years in 2002 with a ‘Bachelor of Theology’ and a ‘Master of Pastoral Theology’.
Ave Maria
The morning following my graduation, accompanied by my wife, Claudette, we visitied a well recommended spiritual director. The result? I returned to Timmins to begin a New Mission. Mother had suffered a stroke which left her semi-paralized at the age of 81 and she had recently been admitted to a nursing home.
I obtained Power of Attorney to ensure that she would receive proper care. It was a Novena of ‘joy and suffering’ from 2002 to 2011 as I was Mom’s guardian angel. I was able to experience Mathew 25 while caring for Mom.
For I was hungry, and you gave me to eat: I was thirsty, and you gave me to drink: I was a stranger, and you took me in: 36 Naked, and you covered me: sick, and you visited me: I was in prison, and you came to me. (Mathew 25:35-36)
Mom greatly appreciated every little thing I did every day to make life more enjoyable for her. She said to me one day: “Donald, you are a Rose among the thorns.”
To get an idea of Mathew 25 lived out between Mom and I, I invite you to go to view a video titled ‘Feeding Mom’. http://vimeo.com/103592082 The video echoes Mathew 25:40:
“And the king answering shall say to them: Amen I say to you, as long as you did it to one of these my least brethren, you did it to me.”
Mom passed away at the age of 91 1/2. She could have died of leukemia (cancer of the blood) at the age of 55– but she was healed instantly when a black priest by the name of Rev Edgar Web laid hands on her in Jesus name. Mom said to me upon her return home; “Donald, after he prayed for me and as I lay on the floor, resting in the Holy Spirit, I knew that I knew, that I knew, that I was healed, that I had no more cancer!”
As Mom would so often say, God is so good! I wrote a book on Mom’s life titled: “God is so Good.” It reflects Mom’s Christian worldview. God’s awesome mercy and love shines through her life in this book.
If you go to my website www.striveforheavennow.ca at page ‘euthanasia’ you will see my testimony in regards to my battle against the ‘Culture of Death’ within the Nursing Home. I fought for nine years to ensure that the ‘medical system’ and the nursing home did not make a ‘zombie’ of Mom with excessive and unnecessary drugs and to prevent Mom’s early death by means of ‘passive euthanasia’.
The day before Mom died, as I arrived next to her she gave me the nicest, most sincere ‘Thank You’ that a son could receive from his mother. Mom knew that ‘death’ was just by her side. Mom was consecrated to Mary and it was very evident as death drew closer and closer.
That same day at 4:20 p.m. Mom said to me:
“Donald, I will pray for you.”
Those were Mom’s last words. I believe that she knew that her death was very near. Eleven hours later, at 3 a.m, the ‘Hour of Divine Mercy’, we received a phone call from the Nursing Home telling us that Mom had just entered a coma.
At 3:10 a.m, Claudette and I were at Mom’s bedside. I held Mom’s good hand and with my Rosary in my other hand I began to pray the ‘Chaplet of Divine Mercy’ interspersed with the Word of God throughout the night. (CF: http://www.praydivinemercy.com/
We prayed till 9:30 a.m when other members of our family and in-laws arrived. Surrounded by those she had so loved, Mom left us peacefully at 10:33 a.m on a very special day. It was ‘Pentecost Sunday’. I must say here that Mom had throughout her life, a special devotion to the Holy Spirit. This was acknowledged and made evident in God’s choice of the day He chose to take Mom from this world.
As I speak to you tonight, be assured Mom is praying for each and every one of us as I asked her to intercede for us. I often remember her last words to me: “Donald, I will pray for you.” Mom was a ‘Prayer Warrior’ throughout her life.
Ave Maria
Several months later, I was alone at home. And I knelt below the Cross in our kitchen and I prayed a very sincere prayer from my heart to God. I prayed:
“Jesus, if you can use me to fight against abortion, here I am.”
A few months later I joined a bus-load of young and old pro-lifers on a ‘Show the Truth Tour” throughout the Ottawa Valley. The following link explains well “Show The Truth”.
http://www.showthetruth.ca/#/home/
We exhibited fifty+ large graphic signs of abortion along busy highways. This lasted for a week, and terminated in the City of Ottawa. I made important contacts with pro-lifers. One of them was
‘Cyril Winter’
who was a regular protestor on Bank St in Ottawa, in front of the Mortgentaler Abortion Clinic. Another one was..
“Fr Tony Van Hee, S.J.,”
who has been a protester against the ‘Culture of Death’ for over 25 years on Parliament Hill in Ottawa.
After returning home from my week of ‘Show the Truth’ I shared this with my wife, Claudette, as well as my desire to move to Ottawa to protest the horror of abortion and the Culture of death.
Claudette gave me her unconditional ‘Yes’. She said: “If God is calling you on this Mission, go.”
She also put her consent in writing for me. It is a most eloquent and beautiful and precious letter of consent and support for me in my new Mission to help the most vulnerable and endangered human beings, those in the womb of their mothers, now the most dangerous place in the world.
It was on October 5, 2011, the Feast of Saint Faustina of the Most Blessed Sacrament, that I left Timmins for Ottawa. Already three years have gone by and after having spent Nov/Dec of 2011 and Jan/2012 learning about how to protest abortion with my friend ‘Cy Winter’ across from the Abortion Clinic I felt called to join forces with Fr Tony Van Hee, S.J., on Parliament Hill. We both protest close by to the ‘Centennial Flame’ where hundreds of Parliamentary staff, M.Ps, local citizens and tourist come by daily.
With my three graphic signs (two on my front and back and one held up above my shoulders in my hand) I show the graphic horror and truth of abortion in Canada. Also I must say, and this is extremely important to note. I always put my eight inch high wooden crucifix at the top of my front abortion sign for all to see.
The crucifix is my testimony of my Christian faith in Jesus Christ who is “the Way, and the Truth, and the Life” (CF: John 14:6) and my witness of God’s awesome Mercy and Love for us through His Son. John 3:16 expresses it so well.
“ For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in him, may not perish, but may have life everlasting.” (John 3:16)
Ave Maria
In the first week of December , 2014 I had a very memorable visit while protesting on Parliament Hill. Leah, a short, adult Eskimo lady had been standing for a few minutes down below me on Wellington Street, staring at my signs. Suddenly, she came straight to me and looking up at my large sign which said: “THE PILL KILLS” she said emphatically: “That’s true, the Pill kills!” Then she examined my other sign below which showed how babies are aborted and torn apart ‘piece by piece’. She shook her head in unbelief and shock and waved her finger back and forth in front of me and said: “They will never forget! They will never forget! They will never forget!”
She then did a little dance saying: “They do this after an abortion.” This was her way of showing how those women who abort their babies pretend to be happy after they have killed their baby.” But again she waved her finger saying: ”They will never forget”.
She then changed her tone of voice and began to confide in me that she had had a miscarriage. I looked at her and asked: “How many weeks was it?” To answer me she then spaced her finger and thumb about an inch apart from each other while saying with a heartbreaking tone of voice: ‘It wasn’t my fault, it wasn’t my fault.”
I stood there pondering what to say. I mustered all the compassion I could, looked her straight in the eyes and said: “Leah, it is not your fault, it is not your fault.”
I then asked her if I could give her a hug, and held her in my arms. I pray that she felt not my arms but God the Father’s arms of love and compassion for her.
It was a special encounter that neither one of us will ever forget. If she (Leah) who loves life and was so distraught by losing a child through a miscarriage, can you imagine what women who purposely abort their babies go through afterwards, eventually.

In Canada, under Section 223.1 of the Criminal Code a baby in the womb of its mother is not a human being until it is born and completely outside the womb.
The following short video will explain this fact:

Canada has become as barbaric as the Aztec Indians were in the 1500’s. The only difference is that the Aztecs offered their human sacrifices ‘publically’ and barbarically on top of pyramids. The photo below shows the Aztec indians offering up a human sacrifice.
(NOTE: photo credit: “Handbook on Guadalupe, by Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate. Our Lady’s Chapel, New Bedford, MA, USA, 1996, page 139)
We kill our unborn babies behind closed doors, out of sight where no one can witness our Canadian barbarism committed upon the most helpless human beings, the baby in the womb. I call it ‘aborterrorism’, which is the worst form of terrorism on the face of the earth. (CF: www.aborterrorism.ca )
(NOTE: the above photo is one of Baby Malachi, aborted at 5 months. Yes, it is graphic and horrific, which is the REALITY of ABORTION allowed in Canada…NO RESTRICTIONS WHATSOEVER!) You can read the history about the image of “Baby Malachi” on the following link:
http://www.priestsforlife.org/resources/abortionimages/babymalachi.htm
Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared to Juan Diego in 1531 at Tepeyac, a hill on the north-west of the city of Mexico. Our Lady miraculously put a stop to the human sacrifices of the Aztecs. Before her apparitions, the Aztecs in only 4 days sacrificed and killed 80,000 humans, young and old by cutting and ripping their hearts out.
The two following links give the history of “Our Lady of Guadalupe”.

We Canadians sacrifice over 100,000 unborn babies every year. Just as Our Lady of Guadalupe put a stop to human sacrifices in 1531 she will also put an end to abortion soon in Canada. To understand this read the book “How I was Led To Found The Movement In Favour Of Life.” By Renald Veilleux. You can view a resume of his book at this link:

How Time Flies!
I wish to share with you some precious words of my mother while we were having coffee and biscuits in the Nursing Home on Dec 26, 2005. Mom said to me:
“Time is precious,
It gives us time to love,
Time to have God’s preciousness.”
(Leona Bruneau, Dec 26, 2005 )
(NOTE: if you wish to know more about ‘Leona Bruneau visit this link:

Let us not waste a second of our precious time. Let us love Jesus and Mary with all our heart and our neighbour as ourself. May we radically desire to get to Heaven. Heaven is a very special part of God’s ‘preciousness’.
Satan, him, is doing everything possible to bring us to Hell for eternity. He invites us on the large road of pride, pleasures, especially pleasures of the flesh (sex) and self-centeredness!
At all costs Satan does not want us to travel on the Narrow Road of Love and Suffering that leads to Heaven. Here is a photo of the ‘Two Roads’. Below is photo of artist ‘Elizabeth Isola’ and I.
I had this painting commissioned by Ottawa artist ‘Elizabeth Isola’ for the occasion of a Conference I gave in 2002 at Saint Paul University in Ottawa titled “Perfect Love Cast Out All Fear.” (1 John 4:18)
The following link gives one of the talks I gave at the Conference….on “God’s Love”.
https://striveforheavennow.ca/Perfect%20Love/
(NOTE: above is artist ‘Elizabeth Isola and Donald Andre Bruneau as they hold painting of ‘Two Roads’ during Conference given at St-Paul University, Ottawa.)
To do the painting I gave Elizabeth the words of “Saint Faustina of the Most Blessed Sacrament” found in her ‘Diary’ (no 153)
“…I saw two roads. One was broad, covered with sand and flowers, full of joy, music and all sorts of pleasures. People walked along it, dancing and enjoying themselves. They reached the end without realizing it. And at the end of the road there was a horrible precipice; that is, the abyss of hell. The souls fell blindly into it; as they walked, so they fell. And their number was so great that it was impossible to count them. And I saw the other road, or rather, a path, for it was narrow and strewn with thorns and rocks; and the people who walked along it had tears in their eyes, and all kinds of suffering befell them. Some fell down upon the rocks, but stood up immediately and went on. At the end of the road there was a magnificent garden filled with all sorts of happiness and all these souls entered there. At the very first instant they forgot all their sufferings” (Diary 153).
Elizabeth prayerfully based herself on this above description of the ‘Two Roads’ to do this awesome and sobering painting which I unveiled during the Conference. I asked her comments about the painting and she replied:
” Isn’t indifference the ultimate cruelty?”
Yes, if we look at the people on the ‘Wide Road’ of pleasures leading to Hell, each individual is completely ‘self-absorbed, self-focused and totally indifferent to those around them. It is for the most part, the culture of today—‘me, myself and I’—that’s all that matters.
If only more people knew what Hell actually is. Saint Faustina was taken to Hell and shown the torments that people experience there. She describes Hell here:
” Today, I was led by an Angel to the chasms of hell. It is a place of great torture; how awesomely large and extensive it is! The kinds of tortures I saw: the first torture that constitutes hell is the loss of God; the second is perpetual remorse of conscience; the third is that one’s condition will never change; the fourth is the fire that will penetrate the soul without destroying it, a terrible suffering, since it is a purely spiritual fire, lit by God’s anger; the fifth torture is conditional darkness and a terrible suffocating smell, and despite the darkness, the devils and the souls of the damned see each other and all the evil, both of others and their own; the sixth torture is the constant company of satan, the seventh torture is horrible despair, hatred of God, vile words, curses and blasphemies. These are the tortures suffered by all the damned together, but that is not the end of the sufferings. There are special tortures destined for particular souls. These are the torments of the senses. Each soul undergoes terrible and indescribable sufferings, related to the manner in which it has sinned. There are caverns and pits of torture where one form of agony differs from another. I would have died at the very sight of these tortures if the omnipotence of God had not supported me. Let the sinner know that he will be tortured throughout all eternity, in those senses which he made use of to sin. I am writing this at the command of God, so that no soul may find an excuse by saying there is no hell, or that nobody has ever been there, and so no one can say what it is like. I, sister Faustina, by the order of God, have visited the abysses of hell so that I might tell souls about it and testify to its existence. I cannot speak about it now; but I have received a command from God to leave it in writing. The devils were full of hatred for me, but they had to obey me at the command of God. What I have written is but a pale shadow of the things I saw. But I noticed one thing: that most of the souls there are those who disbelieved that there is a hell. When I came to, I could hardly recover from the fright. How terribly souls suffer there! Consequently, I pray even more fervently for the conversion of sinners. I incessantly plead God’s mercy upon them. O my Jesus, I would rather be in agony until the end of the world, amidst the greatest sufferings, than offend You by the least sin. (Diary 741).(CF: http://cloudoffire.blogspot.ca/2009/03/visions-of-hell-purgatory-and-heaven.html )
Ave Maria
Let us remember that our journey on this earth is a very intense spiritual combat. Ephesians 6:11-18 describes it very well:
“Put you on the armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the deceits of the devil. [12] For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and power, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places. [13] Therefore take unto you the armour of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and to stand in all things perfect. [14] Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of justice, [15] And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace:
[16] In all things taking the shield of faith, wherewith you may be able to extinguish all the fiery darts of the most wicked one. [17] And take unto you the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit (which is the word of God). [18] By all prayer and supplication praying at all times in the spirit; and in the same watching with all instance and supplication for all the saints.”
Ave Maria
Mary revealed to Renald Veilleux the huge importance of the Holy Eucharist for priests. She said to Renald:
“Only the Pastors who are truly and solidly anchored in me, your almighty Mother, and especially, all the Pastors who have had the wisdom to anchor themselves solidly in the most powerful of sea ports, the ‘Most Blessed Eucharist’will not founder.
My children, all my privileged sons, literally cling to my Son in his all-powerful Eucharist, which is both living and life-giving, and you will not drown, however horrible and powerful the oncoming storm may be for all of you.
It is in love, surrendering of yourself and forgiveness, that I ask you carry this out to the end.
You will also know the glory that my Son also reserves for all who have accepted to persevere to the end in total and absolute gift of self and faithfulness.” (ibid pgs 94-95)
Let us take the advice that Mary gives to Her beloved sons, the priests, and let us Catholic lay people make the Holy Eucharist our anchor, our greatest passion and radical love.
Do you want to be holy, to be a radical of love, love of Jesus and Mary in the defense of life?
Mary invites us to do it:
“Dear children, I beseech you, let yourself be called by Love. Our hearts are weary that you turn a deaf ear to our merciful appeals.” (ibid pg 68)
When we give our ‘Fiat’, we can expect that God will accomplish wonders in each of our lives. He has done so in the life of Renald Veilleux. His book gives witness to this.
Renald’s mission continues. My mission continues, thanks to our abandonment to Jesus through Mary and thanks to Mother Mary’s intercession and love on our behalf.
Ave Maria
Four days ago, on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, December 8th, 2014, I accomplished a 33 Day Preparation for Consecration to Mary. (CF:33 Days To Morning Glory: A Do-it Yourself Retreat In Preparation for Marian Consecration, by Michael E. Gaitley, MIC )
The day after my Consecration to Mary I received a beautiful, large medal of the ‘Immaculate Conception’, now known as the ‘Miraculous Medal’ due to the fact that it has accomplished so many miracles in the lives of whoever wore it. Below is photo of myself with my cherished ‘Miraculous Medal’.
I studied and meditated on the lives of four Holy Catholics. Each one of them had a `radical love` for Jesus and Mary.
‘Saint Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort’ encouraged us to renew the promises of our baptism, to renounce Satan and to surrender ourself completely to Jesus through Mary.
seehttp://www.ssvmusa.org/Events/CatholicCulture/Montfort.Apr28.shtm
‘Saint Maximilian Kolbe’ encouraged us by the example of his Holy life, to consecrate ourself to Mother Mary, the ‘IMMACULATE CONCEPTION’ and ‘SPOUSE’ of the Holy Spirit. (Cf: http://www.piercedhearts.org/theology_heart/life_saints/a_maximilian_kolbe.htm
‘Blessed Mother Teresa’ had us fix our eyes on Jesus crucified and His final words on the Cross..’I Thirst’. Yes, Jesus’s thirst for souls and for our love.
(Cf: www.ewtn.com/motherteresa )
‘Saint John Paul 11’ with his ‘Totus Tuus’ gave us the example of a total abandonment to Jesus through Mary and his acceptance of the Cross of suffering right to his last breath. (Cf: www.jp2shrine.org )
Note: His first trip as Pope was to Mexico to pay his respect and devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe..
There is so much to learn about a ‘radical love’ for Jesus and Mary, and for our neighbour by reading the lives of these precious Saints.
Ave Maria
During my nine years at the Nursing Home, in my spirit I kept hearing these heartwrenching words…
“Love……Love…..Love!
Where are you?!…come to me!”
The people in this world have a great thirst for love. Will we be God’s ‘instrument’ of love for them?
If we strive to become radically in love with Jesus and Mary we will ‘hear’ these cries for love and we will become ‘vessels of love’ unto them.
Ave Maria
Do you desire, before you die, to become a Saint, radically in love with Jesus and Mary? You can become a Saint. Listen to what Our Lady of Guadalupe has to tell us:
“I love you my children, I am your Mother. Let me take your hand and let Me lead you, and through the way of the fight against abortion, in this MOVEMENT IN FAVOUR OF LIFE, I will guide you gradually to saintly perfection, the one desired by myself and my Son.
As you endure the evils that must be defeated in these times, we will help you on the path to perfection and holiness.” (Ibid., pg 49 )
With Our Lady of Guadalupe I urge you: “Desire with all of your heart to be radically in love with Jesus and Mary.
On bended knees with rosary in hand, your eyes fixed on the Cross, the world behind you, while you defend the ‘gift of life’, say unto the Lord:
“Yes, let it be done unto me according to Thy will, Amen.”
