“Responding To The Media’s “Who Am I To Judge?” by Pope Francis.”

2Rslide_WL

When the Media reported that Pope Francis said: “Who am I to judge?”, it sent the liberal, pro Culture of Death Media into a frenzy and was applauded by the Gays worldwide!

This took place during a news conference aboard the 12 hour flight from Rio de Janeiro to Rome when Pope Francis took questions from reporters. He was asked about the “Gay Lobby” in the Vatican.

What many people in the world do not know is that the liberal media twisted the truth by quoting Pope Francis out of context.

What Pope Francis actually said was :

“IF a man is gay and seeks God and has good will, who am I to judge him?”

(CatholicHerald.co.uk by Staff reporter, July 29, 2013 )

In this sex-obsessed world that we live in the Liberal Media succeeded well in making people believe that the Gays had the Pope’s blessing on their lifestyle.

Let us examine Pope Francis’s statement to understand the true meaning of what he said about the “Gay Lobby” and homosexuals. www.catholicculture.org/news/headlines/index.cfm?storyid=20241

                                                      THE WORD “IF”

Pope Francis began his answer with the word “IF”. This IF puts forth an extremely important condition in his answer.

It means that IF the homosexual person is ‘seeking’ God and has ‘good will’, he will not be living out the homosexual lifestyle and will not be judged negatively.

                                        THE WORDS “SEEKING GOD”.

Next, that gay person must be ‘seeking God’. I will use a few scriptures to illustrate from God’s perspective what ‘seeking God’ means.

In Psalm 119:10: “With MY WHOLE HEART have I SOUGHT after Thee:let me not stray from Thy COMMANDMENTS.”

Here we see that to seek God with ALL our heart involves obedience to God’s Commandments. If you keep the Commandments you will not sin. Remember, God is Holy and we must become Holy if we wish to be in his company. 1 Peter 1:16 says:”Because it is written, Be ye Holy, for I am Holy.”

In dictionaries, to ‘seek’ means to desire something or someone, to want to go strongly in pursuit of.

Psalm 26:4 illustrates the wisdom of this desire so well:”One thing I have asked of The Lord , this will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of The Lord ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE. That I may visit His temple.”

As you can see from this scripture when a person is serious about seeking God he/she wants to spend ‘all the days of my life’ with God, i.e. Eternity with God.

                                                         “GOOD WILL”

Next, the person must have ‘good will’.

What is ‘good will’? When you think of ‘good ‘ as opposed to ‘evil ‘, then ‘good will’ can be understood as ‘the will to do good’ versus ‘the will to do evil’.

The will ‘to do good’ can only be achieved by ‘obedience’ to God’s Ten Commandments http://www.ewtn.com/expert/answers/ten_commandments.htm

Obedience to God’s Ten Commandments breeds life and love for God and our neighbour, whereas disobedience to God’s Ten Commandments in our sex-obsessed world breeds of death and hatred of God and the human person in all stages of its life, from the moment of conception till it’s natural death.

Disobedience to God’s Commandments results in a narcissistic, and deadly lifestyle. Beware and remember: “Without God we self-destruct”! Just look around you. In the world, the ‘Culture of Death’ is rampant everywhere! Contraception is the source, the ‘gateway’ to the ‘Culture of Death’. In his great encyclical ‘Evangelium Vitae’ Pope John Paul 11 discusses the relationship between contraception and abortion.

Those caught up in their sexual frenzy should lend ear to the message of the Virgin Mary when she appeared in Fatima in 1917. She said: “More souls go to Hell because of the sins of the flesh (SEX) than for any other reason.”  (cf: https://striveforheavennow.ca/more-souls-go-to-hell-because-of-the-sins-of-the-flesh-than-for-any-other-reason-our-lady-of-fatimas-message-to-the-world-by-donald-andre-bruneau/

“THE STATE OF THE WORLD TODAY”

The state of the world today is well described by Alex Morin, of British Columbia, Canada, who is a musician and music composer. In “World” he writes:

“WORLD”

Children taken away,
Animals being tortured,
Hearts being broken
Souls crushed to the ground
The earth is scarred – our planet abused
How long can this go on?
How long….

Can we get away with this?
My arms are not strong enough
Will we get away with this?
My voice is not loud enough

God and love have become something of the past
War and porn are now the source of our lives
Famous idols have become what we worship
Violence, starvation, How long can this go on?

CHORUS

Help me find my faith
Help me find my faith
Help me find my faith
Help me find my faith

NOTE: Personally, I would add to ‘animals being tortured’…”unborn babies being butchered and murdered” to reflect the ‘aborterrorism’ in the world today.

Alex’s words echo what I said earlier:
” Without God we self-destruct”.

Alex’s Chorus, ‘Help me find my faith’ shows the attitude of a sinner sincerely conscious of the disatrous effects of SIN in the world today and who is reaching out for God’s Mercy! A scripture that beautifully reflects Alex’s words ‘Help me find my faith’ is Psalm 42:1: “As the hart panteth after the fountains of water; so my soul panteth after Thee, O God.”

“THE CULTURE OF DEATH”

Two authors who have done a terrific job in researching and describing  the conspiracy of the ‘Culture of Death’ are ‘Donald DeMarco and Benjamin D Wiker’ in book ‘Architects of the Culture of Death’.

In a book review Francis Phillips writes: (…., the authors underline a stark truth: “If you cut yourself off from God you are most likely to end up also being cut off from your fellow-man. “No man is an Island.”, the poet John Donne wrote – except, one might add, those who choose to be; this is where HELL begins. To close off the “I” from the “Thou” – Icheinsamkeit (I- aloneness) – is, as the authors observe, the path to insanity – and perdition.”

Now, there are ‘consequences’ to our choice of seeking God or refusing to have God at the centre of our life. This is very well illustrated in Deuteronomy 30:15-16:

15 Consider that I have set before thee this day life and good, and on the other hand death and evil:

16 That thou mayst love the Lord thy God, and walk in his ways, and keep his commandments and ceremonies and judgments, and thou mayst live, and he may multiply thee, and bless thee in the land, which thou shalt go in to possess.

If we refuse God at the centre of our life and go on living as if God did not exist, then we will experience what God describes in Romans Chapter 1. Pope John Paul explains it well in his Encyclical “The Gospel of Life” (23):

“The eclipse of the sense of God and of man inevitably leads to a practical materialism, which breeds individualism, utilitarianism and hedonism. Here too we see the permanent validity of the words of the Apostle:”And since they did not see fit to ACKNOWLEDGE GOD, God gave them up to a base mind and to improper conduct.” (Romans 1:28) The values of BEING are replaced by those of HAVING. The only goal which counts is the pursuit of one’s own material well-being. The so-called “quality of life” is interpreted primarily or exclusively as economic efficiency, inordinate consumerism, physical beauty and pleasure, to the neglect of the more profound dimensions–interpersonal, spiritual and religious–of existence.

On the other hand, the warning of our merciful God is very clear: if we walk in His ways and keep His commandments we will experience life and good, not death and evil.

2 Chronicles 7:14 echoes the same message: “And my people, upon whom My name is called, being converted, shall make supplication to Me, and seek My face, and do penance for their most wicked ways: then will I hear from Heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land.”

I spoke of God’s awesome MERCY for any repentant sinner in a Conference  ( cf: https://striveforheavennow.ca/perfect-love/ ) talk I gave in 2002 at Saint Paul University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, titled “Perfect Love Casts Out All Fear.”

Any homosexual, any other sinner can receive God’s mercy if they will forsake a sinful lifestyle depicted in Galatians 5:19-21:

Galatians 5:19-21

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are fornication, uncleanness, immodesty, luxury,

20 Idolatry, witchcrafts, enmities, contentions, emulations, wraths, quarrels, dissensions, sects,

21 Envies, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like. Of the which I foretell you, as I have foretold to you, that they who do such things shall not obtain the kingdom of God.

These sins, if not repented of will bring the sinner to Hell forever. This is where it is important to speak about ‘judging others’. We will look at the controversial and crucially important word ‘judge’.

People today, sinners especially love to quote Matthew 7:1:”Judge not that you may not be judged.” This is their defence to permit them to continue on with their sinfull sexual lifestyle and don’t you dare point a finger or say a word about it!

Remember that after we die we immediately come before the ‘Judgment Seat of Christ’  and we will know immediately whether we will go to Heaven, Purgatory or Hell forever! Hebrews 9:27:”And as it is appointed unto men once to die, and after this the judgment.”

Thank God! and Thank God infinitely if there is a Christian with enough love and courage to approach you and warn you of the consequences of your sinfull lifestyle! That person knows the reality of Hell and is trying to save your soul from eternal damnation!

Remember correction is not judgment. In James 5:20, God wants us to warn sinners.

James 5:20

20 He must know that he who causeth a sinner to be converted from the error of his way, shall save his soul from death, and shall cover a multitude of sins.

Also in Ezekiel 33:8 we see how God mandates us to warn the sinner.

Ezekiel 33:8

When I say to the wicked: O wicked man, thou shalt surely die: if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked man from his way: that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but I will require his blood at thy hand.

As a sinner, saved by God’s amazing Grace, and consciously ‘striving for Heaven’, I will pray for you the reader whether you be gay or not, so that Mary, the ‘Mediatrix of All Graces’ ( http://www.fifthmariandogma.com/co-redemptrix-fifth-marian-dogma/mary-mediatrix-of-all-graces-part-ii/ )  will grant you the ‘Grace’ to acknowledge your sins and turn to Jesus Christ as your Saviour because we are all sinners in need of God’s MERCY. I beg you, “Strive for Heaven Now!”

With love for your soul I leave you with this crucially important question: “If you died now, are you ready for ‘your’ Judgment?
