Time Is Precious, Every Life Is Precious. So Don’t Destroy Them With Euthanasia

do you know

Time Is Precious, Every Life Is Precious

God has a unique and special ‘plan’ for each and every life, including ‘your’ life. But for this plan to be realized we must not short circuit God’s plan by cutting short and ending it on ‘our’ time schedule. To do this is called ‘euthanasia’, a part of the ‘Culture of Death/Murder’ which is so prevalent today at the very beginning of life and now at the ‘end’ of life on this earth.

Shortly you will be able to read a very special poem titled “Time is Precious”. I was inspired to write it after my Mom said to me while I was caring for her in a Nursing Home:

Time is precious,

It gives us time to love,

Time to have God’s preciousness.

As we travel this brief journey on planet Earth, we have a crucially important test to pass. Saint John of the Cross said: “On the eve of life we shall be judged by love.” After our death on our personal judgment before God, we shall be judged on how well we loved God through His only son Jesus Christ, and how well we loved our neighbour. (CF: Luke 10:25-27)

25 And behold a certain lawyer stood up, tempting him, and saying, Master, what must I do to possess eternal life?

26 But he said to him: What is written in the law? how readest thou?

27 He answering, said: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind: and thy neighbour as thyself.

As you carefully read the poem you will see the inherent evil of euthanasia. Euthanasia robs you of that ‘precious time’ that God gives you to prepare yourself for the next life.

 Time is Precious!

It gives us time to love
Time to have God’s preciousness.

Such were the words of mom
Now eighty years plus some
As we enjoyed coffee

With a puzzled look I said:
“God’s preciousness?”
With the wisdom of a mother
Inspired by the Holy Spirit
Mom explained:

“You are precious to me
God is precious to us
You are giving to prove it
It is Christmas time
The time to give.”

Through prayer and contemplation
I sought to understand
To understand the link
And God’s preciousness.

My answer came
In the birth of Christ
On that day of greatest fame
Known as Christmas.

On Christmas Day
That time for special giving
First loved us
His precious, precious ones.

He gave His only Son
Born of the Virgin
Incarnated, the God-man
In whom
He put all His love.

Born in a manger
Baby Jesus
Son of St-Joseph and
Mary, Mother of God
Leaves this world as
The ‘Crucified’.

To become
The ‘Risen One’
The One who vanquished
Sin and Death
And birthed ‘Eternity’
For you and me.

God the Father
Did this
Cause, He so loves us
He offers us His only Son.
A choice.
Will it be
A loving Heavenly
Through faith in Christ
The Lord.

A hated-filled
Hellish eternity.
For whosoever obstinately refuses
God’s awesome Mercy.

“Time is precious!
It gives us time to love
Time to have God’s preciousness.”

Time allows us
In wellness or in suffering
Another day
Another hour
To love God, love our neighbor,
Ask forgiveness for our sins.

Time allows us
Another moment
Before the Final one
To choose to repent,
Give our life
To Jesus Christ, Savior.

The consequence?
Your name written
In the ‘Book of Life’
Enjoying God and
Each other’s love and preciousness
In a Holy, Heavenly

Time is precious!
So remember always
Within that great dichotomy
You must ultimately
Your destiny.

If you or someone you know and love is contemplating euthanasia, please reconsider. Thank God for each additional moment of life that He grants you. Don’t waste a moment of it but spend it with God, prayerfully and sincerely ask God for forgiveness for your sins. Go to confession. Ask anyone you may have offended to forgive you.

Now is a priceless time of preparation for you to strive for Heaven! Fix your eyes upon Jesus Christ crucified. Through His shed blood you can have access to Heaven. Pray to Mary, Mother of God for the grace to surrender completely your soul to God’s Love and Mercy.

Remember, Jesus said: “6 Jesus saith to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6 )

As you near death, repeat these precious words:

“Jesus, I love You,

Jesus, I Trust in You.”
