“Adore Our Lord While You Can, ‘Time Is Precious’.”

“Time is precious,
It gives us time to love,
Time to have God’s preciousness.”

(By Leona Bruneau, my mother, Dec 26, 2005)

“Time…love…..God’s preciousness...”
4 most important words and treasures.

Time as we know it is our springboard into eternal, never-ending ‘time’. Forever in the presence of our God, ‘Father, Son and Holy Spirit’.

Our so brief journey on earth gives us time, opportunity ‘to love’ God and our neighbour. (Cf: Matt 25:31-46)

God has given us His ‘Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity’ in the Holy Eucharist and His transforming Presence in the Most Blessed Sacrament to make us Holy, as He is Holy, to make us loving as He is Loving.

Are we taking advantage of the awesomely precious treasure we have under this roof, at Saint Maurice Catholic Church, where Jesus awaits our company, our prayers and praise 24/7 in the Adoration Chapel.

Once we are gone from this life it is too late to show Him our love for the Most Blessed Sacrament.

I almost died three weeks ago, as I was suddenly narrowly missed by a drunk driver. See video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=739EwvDeUXU&list=UUMlSmSp8wHsfxMZy5PSPqYA

Immediately Mom’s words echoed in my mind and heart:

“Time is precious,
It gives us time to love,
Time to have God’s preciousness.”

None of us can take our life for granted, nor tomorrow for granted.

How serious are we about becoming Holy as He is Holy, while we still have time?

The Saints of yesterday and today showed us time and time again how being in the presence of Jesus exposed in the Most Blessed Sacrament was key to their Holiness, their Sainthood.

In the priceless SILENCE before the Blessed Sacrament are the greatest exchanges of love between our Creator and us, His creatures.

Please don’t miss out on “God’s preciousness. Resolve to spend much more time with Christ, our Saviour, our great Lover who makes Himself so available to each one of us so we may become LOVE.

Time is so, so precious!
