Just as you are very proud to be an American, I am so thankful to God to have been born a ‘Canadian’!
I was until recently a strong supporter of you–until–from your lips came the brash and insulting words of “Canada becoming the 51st State of the USA”.
Let me be clear: “I was born Canadian and I will die as a Canadian, not an American.”
I am sure many Canadians feel the same way I do about this.
Be very careful, “Pride goeth before the fall.”
God’s Word says in Proverbs 16:18: “Pride goeth before destruction: and the spirit is lifted up before a fall.”
As a Christian I sincerely and earnestly +pray and ask Canadians to join me in this +prayer:
“Father God, protect our great and precious Country of Canada and grant us Canadians that what Donald J. Trump said about Canada becoming a 51st State of the USA….WILL NEVER COME TO PASS! In the name of Jesus Christ, the King of kings, and the Lord of lords, I pray. AMEN.”
